The 1973 Shovel original engine of the FX after be cleaned and sandblasted. The flywheel, cylinder heads and all internal parts need to be replaced, so it will stay a while on the shelf before reconditioning.

In May, 2010. I bought a 1973 FX Shovelhead bike with a guy whom didn't afford to finish restoration

 In 2009 I bought a 1979 Shovelhead motor with most of internal parts missing

 The motor was in quite good condition (no cracks, good heads) but the flywheel needs to be recond.

 After engine case and heads cleaned, engine case was hand polished. Top end and, pushrod tubes and the S&S B card was found on Ebay.

The flywheel has been conditioned by POP'S GARAGE in L.A.

All internal parts are new, SIFTON cams, S&S rods, H-D pistons, rings, springs and valves.
